Cookie policy
Last updated: 5 August 2026.
We do not ask for your consent, and here is why
Exploitiv uses no advertising and no third-party trackers: there is no Google Analytics, no pixels, no scripts from anybody else. The only cookies we set are the ones you need in order to log in and the one that remembers which language you want to read the site in, and all of them are exempt from consent. That is why you will not see a cookie banner.
We do count a few things (without knowing who you are)
To find out whether the site makes sense, we count individual gestures on the public pages: that somebody has pressed the start button, tried the sample replayer or sent a form. For each of those gestures we store the name of the gesture, the page and little else.
Those counters store nothing on your device —no cookies, no local storage— and they store no identifier: not your IP address, not the browser you use, not a number that follows you from page to page. Two visits from you and visits from two different people are exactly the same thing to us. They are counters, not a profile: that is why they neither track you nor need your consent.
One thing we do store, for as long as the tab is open
If you press “Subscribe” without having logged in, we note down in your browser which plan you had chosen, so that we can take you to the payment as soon as you get into your account instead of making you hunt for the button again. It is deleted when you close the tab, and in any case after half an hour. It carries neither your name nor any identifier, and it is essential to finish what you have just asked for, so it does not need your permission either —the same case as a shop basket—.
Cookies we use
| Name | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| hector_sesion | Keep you logged in. | 90 days |
| hector_oauth | Protect the log-in with Google while it is under way. | 10 minutes |
| idioma | Remember which language you want to read the site in. It is only set if you are the one changing the language. | 1 year |
If this changes
If one day we add analytics that identify you —a measurement cookie, a visitor identifier or a third-party tool—, we will ask for your consent before switching it on and we will update this page.
